ON election day, The Argus has given five candidates from the main political parties the opportunity to make their final pitch to you the voters.
THIS election is even more important than in 2015, as full and successful Brexit is now at stake.
Putting party politics aside, the important thing is that we have a strong new Parliament committed to British independence, sovereignty and self -determination, rather than see our country relegated to the status of a vassal province of the European super state. That would not be in your interests, nor for the futures of your children and grandchildren.
Clearly, Ukip is more committed than any other party to achieving these goals – remember Brexit would never have happened without Ukip.
But be very circumspect: there are candidates standing who would gladly undermine and destroy the great global opportunity that awaits us.
An opportunity for the UK to trade freely and openly with all nations, not shackled to a failing EU.
A UK governed from London by accountable MPs, who you can remove – unlike the unelected, undemocratic officials of Brussels.
A UK in control of its own borders, not an open house, whose population surges constantly and way past its infrastructure ability to cope.
There are marginal seats in Sussex, where we have chosen not to stand. We urge you to vote for the pro-Brexit candidate in those constituencies.
Reflect carefully and cast your vote wisely.
Three key UKIP manifesto pledges:
Much more resource for UK security, including border control and military strength
Drastic reduction of immigration
Restoration of our national independence and self-determination.
