ON election day, The Argus has given five candidates from the main political parties the opportunity to make their final pitch to you the voters.
BY voting Green on June 8 you have the chance to elect MPs who will always stand up for you.
With Sussex facing so many challenges, from the crumbling NHS to cuts in schools and chaos on the railways, you need MPs who will work for you, rather than toeing the party line.
As the MP for Brighton Pavilion I’ve made it my priority to protect local services and give the people of this great city a voice in Parliament.
I’ve stood with teachers and parents in opposition to schools cuts and pressed the Prime Minister on the pressure faced by pupils.
I’ve dragged ministers to the House of Commons to answer questions on the emergency in Sussex’s health service – and I’ve continued to do all I can to ensure that we don’t face an extreme Brexit which will damage our local businesses.
By voting Green in Sussex you will be backing a party that puts you first.
We’ll hold any Tory government to account and hold Labour’s feet to the fire to ensure they are as bold as possible. Only the Greens can be trusted to put you first.
Three key Green policies:
1) Reverse cuts to education and NHS budgets.
2) Oppose an extreme Brexit – and give people the say on the final deal.
3) Put environmental protection at the heart of everything we do.
