Church Street, Eastbourne
A ROAD was blocked this morning due to a car fire.
Emergency services were called to Church Street, Eastbourne at 10.53 due to the incident.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene as well as Sussex Police and the fire was extinguished.
Firefighters left the scene at 11am.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said that the vehicle was recovered at 11.47am and there was some oil and water that had spilled on to the road that needed to be cleared up.
