A BRICKLAYER has been charged with the murder of his landlord.
Alan Knight, 51, a bricklayer of Osmonde Close, Worthing, has been charged with the murder of 50-year-old David Bond, whose body was found on Tuesday, August 9.
Knight was taken into custody in Sussex on Sunday afternoon after surrendering to Lancashire Police in Fleetwood in the early hours of Friday morning.
He required hospital treatment for self-inflicted wounds before travelling.
A Sussex Police spokesman said Knight has been remanded in custody to appear before Brighton magistrates on Tuesday (August 16).
