A MAN wanted for questioning in connection with the death of his landlord has been arrested.
Detectives wanted to speak with Alan Knight, 51, over the fatal stabbing of a 50-year-old man he was living with.
Mr Knight had not been seen since the incident in Osmonde Close, Worthing.
Police officers had to force their way into the property after being alerted the occupant had not been heard from for a number of days.
On Tuesday they broke into the house and found a man who had been repeatedly stabbed.
They issued an appeal for Mr Knight to make contact with them yesterday.
Today a Sussex Police spokesman said: "A man wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of a man in Worthing on Tuesday (August 9) has been detained by police.
"He was captured in Lancashire overnight."
No more details have been released on the arrest.
