This dedicated 15-piece line-up recreated Pet Sounds and Sgt Pepper live in front of an adoring congregation at St George's Church, reproducing every harmony and layer of these complex albums using a vast array of instruments, including a glockenspiel, French horn and sitar.
Once the band had bounced their way through Pet Sounds, performed just as Brian Wilson intended it to be, they moved on to the album so perfect it sent Wilson to bed for ten years.
Their rendition of the classic Beatles album had everyone present swaying, clapping and singing along ecstatically.
By the end of the encore, the audience were grooving in the aisles to All You Need is Love, the Brighton Beach Boys all the while reverberating with sunny seaside splendour.
