A PETITION to bring back a police drama for a second series has attracted more than 5,000 signatures.
The Change.org petition aims to revive BBC drama Cuffs, set in and around Brighton and Hove, for a second coming.
Bosses at the Beeb previously said how the show would not be making a comeback so it could make space for other programmes.
But, since garnering more than 700 signatures in one evening after the last episode on Wednesday, the petition surpassed the 5,000 over the weekend.
Ratings for Cuffs started respectably with almost five million viewers, but fell to less than three million by the eighth and final episode.
