Sussex cricketers took a break from action on the field to pay a flying visit to children in hospital.
Almost the whole of the squad made an appearance on the wards at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Sick Children in Brighton.
They spoke to youngsters, parents and staff, autographed cricket bats and had their photos taken during the visit.
They were shown around parts of the hospital in Dyke Road and told about the upcoming move to the multi-million pound children's hospital in the grounds of the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Eastern Road next month.
A cricket club spokeswoman said: "The team were pleased to do what they could to help cheer up the children while they were staying in hospital.
"They were also interested in learning more about the move to the new building in hospital and learn about the move to the new building."
