Dance-company Simpatico Flamenco delivered a great performance at this show, which comprised enchanting vocals and Spanish acoustic guitar alongside swift swirling turns, raised arms, and roaring heel stamps - the fine art of flamenco dancing unveiled with a beautifully authentic Iberian flare in a very intimate and cosy setting.
The show was slow-paced to start off with, the songs seeming slightly repetitive and sluggish, but the audience's attention was reclaimed as claps and castanets were introduced and the music became increasingly upbeat.
The dancers kept my attention engaged with their elegant dance-moves, flamboyant outfits and the fiery mood, bringing to life this inspiring and enjoyable performance.
