A public meeting is being held to protest at cuts in NHS services.
Members of the Keep our NHS Public campaign in Brighton are organising next month's event and calling for as many people as possible to come along.
The meeting has been called to highlight concerns about the growing privatisation of the NHS with the introduction of private companies to run specialist services such as the orthopaedic treatment centre in Haywards Heath.
There is also anger at cuts in bed numbers and job losses that have affected hospital workers across the county as managers work to claw back debts of millions of pounds.
Speakers include prominent health campaigner John Lister, and Mick Malloy from the local branch of the GMB.
The meeting takes place at the Brighthelm Centre in North Road, Brighton, on June 5 at 7.30pm.
