A couple accused of drunken and threatening behaviour on board a British Airways flight bound for Jamaica are due to stand trial today.
Trevor Blake, 43, and Nicola Fitzgerald, 27, from Luton, Bedfordshire, were charged following a disturbance on flight BA2263 from Gatwick to Kingston on December 5, 2005.
Blake is charged with affray and endangering the safety of an aircraft, including abusing and intimidating cabin crew and passengers.
Fitzgerald is charged with drunkenness on an aircraft.
The pair denied the charges when they appeared before a judge at Lewes Crown Court in September last year.
The trial will be held at Brighton Magistrates' Court.
