Those familiar with Ricky Gervais's stand-up DVDs will know Robin Ince as the guy Gervais winds up in the extras.
However, Ince is even better at sending himself up and this joyous, intimate and hilarious hour saw him poke fun at how middle class he is, how he has the face of a librarian and how this often gets him into trouble.
He delivers it all with the utmost energy and verbal dexterity, without ever slipping into cliche or the kind of base observational comedy which he sharply parodies.
No-one is safe here. His send-ups are astute and cutting but he just seems so loveable, he could rip into you for an hour and you'd still want to buy him a pint.
