A giant statue of England legend Bobby Moore was unveiled at Wembley Stadium today.
The figure standing at nearly six metres high on a stone base was created by West Sussex-based sculptor Philip Jackson at his Midhurst studio.
The Bobby Moore Sculpture is the third of Mr Jackson's works commemorating great sporting heroes and follows The Matt Busby sculpture at Old Trafford and The Champions near Upton Park, also featuring World Cup winner Bobby Moore.
The statue took nearly eight months to create from initial approach to finished bronze.
Mr Jackson said: "He was an extraordinary presence on the field and a great tactician.
"I wanted to try and get that into the sculpture and I wanted it to be heroic and I think I've managed to achieve that.
"It was an exciting process."
