I like Julie Burchill in spite of what your correspondents say (Letters, April 2 and May 4).
Perhaps they are envious of her intelligence, articulation and clarity of writing.
I like her outspoken views about our consumerist and acquisitive oligarchy.
I only wish there were many more of her calibre who are as critical and plausible and say what they think.
It is rebels like her who, over the centuries, brought about any change and useful human advance. Perhaps you could persuade her to tell us more?
