When will Brighton and Hove City Council get its priorities right?
New kerbs and pavements along with the now usual profiteering parking meters are being installed in Union Road and Ditchling Road.
There are red tarmac cyclist areas in place at most traffic lights, although the majority of cyclists ignore red lights. What a waste of money.
There's a total disregard for the epidemic of double-parking that is paralysing the city and preventing us in the fire and rescue service from doing our job. All this money is going on the wrong priorities, while the city's roads fall apart - The Avenue, Coombe Road, Hartington Road and Bernard Road are prime examples.
I empathise with residents who own four-wheel drives - driving around the streets of Brighton and Hove is quite clearly the "ultimate off-road experience".
