We spent a very pleasant few days visiting some of the artists' open houses, as part of the Brighton Festival.
Last weekend we concentrated on Rottingdean and Saltdean, as parking did not create any problems.
We discovered the pleasant White Cliffs Cafe, above the underpass at Saltdean.
Unfortunately, no art was displayed as stated but on such a windy, cold day an excellent cup of coffee was appreciated.
Next weekend we hope to visit the Patcham and Falmer venues and look forward to the same warm welcome we were afforded this weekend.
I urge anybody with even only the slightest interest in art, to take this opportunity to meet some of our talented local artists.
