Hurrah for Barry Kingston (Letters, May 6) and his request to re-route the number 7 bus. It seems he wants what suits him and gives no thought to others.
Did he travel on every number 7 bus all day every day to say it was seldom used?
Regarding the re-routing of the number 7 being taken away from Upper Gloucester Road and Buckingham Road, via Dyke Road, this vital link has been lost to many people in the area, especially those who are elderly and not so nimble on their feet.
Also being wheelchair friendly, it is a great loss to me.
This bus route has been up and running since the Eighties.
