A woman has made a heartfelt plea to anyone who has information about a crash which led to her mother's death.
Barbara Bone was killed after being knocked off her bike by a lorry driver on the A259 in Littlehampton.
The 53-year-old, of Arundel Road, Littlehampton, died in hospital later that evening.
Her daughter, Lucy Jenkins, 29, said the family were devastated by the accident.
She said: "It is comforting to know that some people stopped to help her after she was knocked from her bike.
"We would like to thank those people and to ask them or anyone else who witnessed the incident to come forward and make themselves known to the police.
"They may not think they can help but all the information they give the police could be relevant."
Mrs Jenkins, who is a mother-of-one, added: "She had just recently seen her first grandchild and she was a very vibrant and loving person who made friends easily."
Mrs Bone was well-known in the area where she lived with her husband William.
A date has not been set for her funeral but anyone who knew her will be welcome to attend.
A 23-year-old lorry driver from Littlehampton was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police are particularly keen to trace the driver of a white Ford Transit van who is believed to have witnessed the crash, which happened , on Friday April 27 at 2.09pm.
