The start of a £50,000 armed robbery trial has been delayed for a second day.
Sean Henry and Timothy Cole deny staging the robbery at Amore Jewellers in Horsham in September 2005.
The raid made national news when it was featured on the BBC's Crimewatch programme.
Henry, 35, of Douglas Close, Wallington, Surrey, denies attempting to murder jeweller Darren Prior.
He has pleaded not guilty to an alternative charge of attempting to wound Mr Prior with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Henry also denies robbery and possessing a handgun.
Cole, 30, of Squirrell Close, Langley Green, Crawley, denies robbery.
A jury was selected to hear the trial at Hove Crown Court on Tuesday.
Jurors were sent home while Judge Charles Kemp heard legal submissions.
Richard Barton, prosecuting, was expected open the case against Henry and Cole today.
However, the jury was sent home for a second day after being told that legal submissions had taken longer than expected.
The trial continues.
