The effect of combining phrases originally spoken by politicians, soldiers and ordinary civilians is to form a damning portrait of the gaping holes in the reasoning behind the Iraq war.
The juxtaposition of dialogue was used to great effect, maximising the impact of the harsh realities condensed into their most uncomfortable contexts.
The performers delivered each of their lines with gusto, although the idea was somewhat left to stand up on its own, and the point grew a little wearied after an hour.
More opportunity to savour the incisive commentary would have been welcome from this truthful and dexterous combination of real voices.
