An international feeling certainly came across in the first few opening minutes of the show, as this quirky five-piece flamenco group - direct from Seville - took to the stage.
The show featured prize-winning dancer Carmen Mesa, who delivered a performance replete with passion, faultless technique and genuine emotion, and shone brightly through the beautiful choreography - every head-turn perfectly entwined with every guitar strum and drum beat.
This was an experience enhanced by the Spanish language vocals and authentic costume, plus the evident rapport between the performers - a rapport they shared with the audience, who responded in kind, mirroring the enthusiasm of those on stage.
The intimacy of this performance and the flair with which it was delivered, was a definite eye-opener and was representative of the potential of the genre.
