Proposals to introduce traffic calming measures on a busy road will be unveiled tomorrow.
Details of a public consultation on possible changes to Lyndhurst Road in Worthing will be discussed during a meeting of West Sussex County Council's local committee for the town.
A copy of the plans will also be on display.
The proposals aim to make the road safer for all vehicles and vulnerable road users without obstructing emergency services, especially ambulances going to and from Worthing Hospital.
Committee vice chairwoman Irene Richards said: "This is an ideal opportunity to find out the plans for this busy and well used road.
"Statistics have shown there is a need to reduce the number and severity of accidents along it."
The meeting takes place at Davison High School in Selbourne Road at 7pm.
