This string trio's renditions of songs, ranging from Vivaldi's Four Seasons to Fever and Stand By Me, were constantly disrupted by performers having punch-ups, stealing each other's instruments, yanking off wigs and flirting with unsuspecting punters, with the audience in stitches throughout.
The finale, a performance of Purple Haze, was a rock 'n' roll highlight as the lead violinist seemed to be possessed by the spirit of Hendrix himself. After setting his instrument alight, he proceeded to pluck his violin using his teeth and joined his fellow performers in trashing the stage.
Pluck's hilariously unique versions of classical and modern songs would steal several begrudging laughs from even the snootiest classical music buff, or the most stubborn of rock purists.
If you get a chance to see them, don't miss it.
