I have just read your excellent Ten Years On supplement (The Argus, April 25) and hope it will be sent to Ruth Kelly, even though I don't suppose she will see it but it will at least be within her department.

I have also just heard Colchester FC has sent her a letter of support for the Albion and wondered if anyone has asked all the other Premiership, Championship and Football League Clubs to send letters of support.

Let us keep our fingers crossed for a Yes decision.

I was sad to read about the death of Fred Oliver, who sold The Argus at Withdean and the Goldstone Ground for many years.

He was so chatty and happy. I hope Falmer is built as soon as possible.

Too many years have now passed since the Goldstone was destroyed.
