Tory and Liberal Democrat councillors held their seats in the first results of Mid Sussex District Council.
Andrew Barrett-Miles and Jacqui Landriani held seats for the Tories in Burgess Hill's Dunstall ward.
Haywards Heath's Ashenground ward was held by the Lib Dems with Richard Bates and Brian Hall keeping their places.
Tories Margaret Sersey, Andrew Lea and Christopher Snowling all held their seats for the party in Lindfield.
