I urge Ruth Kelly not to let anybody build a housing estate right on Hove seafront.
We already have to live with the almost criminal damage done to our once lovely seafront buildings in the Sixties and Seventies. Don't let these misfits get added to.
Hove Park has just been ruined by a huge mass of office building and flats that resemble warehouses.
I suggest if we must have thousands of extra homes built, the London Road area could be rebuilt into a mini New York as there are little or no buildings of merit there at the moment. It's in a completely rundown state.
