The big issue in Brighton and Hove is which party you can trust to defend the National Health Service and house people, while protecting the environment, civil liberties and local amenities. This is a difficult balancing act.
Some of us remember that the older generation fought for the right to vote at elections and it is important to vote. This is the reason why many local schools, community centres and churches are closed today (The Argus, May 2).
