I read your article "Woman hurt by two dogs on the South Downs" (The Argus, April 27).
I'm often walking on the Downs, aimlessly wandering and watching the wildlife.
Sundays, early on, is a good time if you like dogs because nearly every other person I see has at least one.
Nearly all the dogs are running off lead and never muzzled.
Small dogs, big dogs and very big dogs. the owners may know their animals aren't fierce but I don't.
Two big alsatians coming at you from nowhere can certainly make you feel uneasy.
