Michael Clark has not only broken the mould of contemporary dance, he has taken the genre and created something provocative and unique.
A classically trained dancer and choreographer who performed with the Royal Ballet, Clark has turned dance on its head, making it exude sexuality and prowess.
He returns with the eagerly awaited Mmm, a complete reworking of his 1992 universally-acclaimed masterpiece.
It is the second instalment in a trilogy of works to seminal dance scores by Igor Stravinsky - the first being last year's acclaimed O' - and is a complete reworking of his universally applauded 1992 masterpiece.
Full of raw dance energy played out to an aggressive punk-medley of Public Image Ltd and Wire, it is a breathless exploration of birth, death and simmering sexual tension.
Guy says: "Clark is someone who stretches the boundaries. He has never tried to fit in and I think he was one of the most extraordinary dancers I saw in the Eighties.
"Having Mmm performed at the festival is just going to be a riot."
- Starts: 8pm. Tickets: £6-£22.50.
