ARMED police and a helicopter were scrambled to a domestic involving a man standing outside a house and breaking a window pane.
Police were told he might be armed and Taser-trained officers attended to secure the house in Warnham, near Horsham, at about 10.30pm last night.
The helicopter and police on the ground searched for the suspect and further information later led to the threat level being reduced.
A search for the suspect continued until he was found and detained at an address in Horsham.
He was not armed and no one was injured.
A 47-year-old man from Horsham has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and is currently in police custody while enquiries continue.
