Children from across Sussex are taking part in a charity football tournament in honour of two firefighters who died in an explosion at a fireworks depot.
Geoff Wicker, 49, and Brian Wembridge, 63, died in the blast at Festival Fireworks, near Lewes, on December 3.
Fire stations across the county has entered a team of ten eight and nine-year-olds from its area into the event at the Withdean Stadium in Brighton.
The games were organised by firefighter Dave Amiet, a qualified football coach.
Proceeds today's tournament will be split between the memorial fund for Mr Wicker and Mr Wembridge, the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund and MacMillan Cancer support.
