Young father Daniele Polito is feared to have been caught up in the crash and is still missing.

He was thought to have been travelling home from work with Matt Jones, whose death has been confirmed by his sister, at the time of the disaster.

On Monday Mr Polito’s sister appealed for information about his whereabouts, but warned people not to jump to conclusions about his fate.

Yesterday she said on Facebook that the family knew “nothing for sure” and the police were in regular contact.

Mr Polito attended Worthing College and Durrington High School, according to his Facebook profile.
