I wonder, is anyone else having difficulty deciding who to vote for in the May local elections?
My main concern is to get rid of this arrogant, dictatorial council so I will not be voting Labour this time round.
We are lucky in my ward to have an excellent Independent candidate, Ann Giebeler, who has supported residents in their local fights against the development of BHASVIC field and the cutting of trees along the rail track, so she will be getting one of my votes, but who to vote for with my other two votes?
I disagree with the Conservatives' policy on admission to secondary schools and also their loony idea to build car parks under our green squares and lawns.
Both the Greens and the Liberal Democrats could have stopped the horrendous development of the King Alfred and for me this is a crunch issue. I feel that it will change Hove for the worse for ever.
Only the Conservatives have consistently opposed this overdevelopment.
Very reluctantly, I will therefore be voting Conservative for the first time in 30 years. I would like to hear how the other voters are making their decisions.
