A young boy who went missing has been found by a member of the public.
Police were called to find the eight-year-old who went missing from his home in Northbourne Road, Eastbourne, at 7.47am on Tuesday.
Police dogs, members of the road policing unit and a helicopter joined the search before he was found outside Langney Primary School at 8.20am.
Inspector Nick Porter of Eastbourne police said: "Sussex Police will react immediately when a child has been reported missing.
"It is excellent that vigilant members of the public assisted and that the boy was quickly located."
