Police investigating a collision in which a 23-year-old cyclist died are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
James Danson-Hatcher, from Brighton, was killed when his bike collided with a Fiat Bravo at the junction of Saddlescombe Road and Devils Dyke Road, Hove, on Thursday April 5.
Sergeant James Biggs said: "It is believed that a number of motorists may have witnessed some part of the collision or the events in the lead up to the collision but did not stop at the scene.
"Consequently I have not been able to speak to them about what they saw which may assist in my investigation.
"The vehicles that I am particularly keen to trace are a dark blue Saab convertible, a red Vauxhall Corsa and a Nissan Micra, colour unknown, which were heading south in Saddlescombe Road, towards Hove at the time of the collision.
"I also wish to speak to the occupants of a vehicle that was heading north on Saddlescombe Road when it turned left on to Devils Dyke Road, towards Devils Dyke, immediately prior to the crash.
"The only description of this vehicle is that it was white. None of these motorists are suspected of any involvement in the collision and are purely being sought as witnesses."
Anyone with information should call Hove road policing department on 0845 6070999, quoting Operation Flake.
