Volunteers are needed to help ensure an iron man competition runs smoothly.
A number of people have already offered to donate their time to marshall the Chichester Triathlon on July 22 but more are needed.
Those who come forward will be needed to count lengths at Chichester's Westgate swimming pool and marshall the bike and running courses.
No experience is needed and every volunteer will get a "goody bag".
Chichester District Council's Greg Mayhew, said: "It is great to be organising a triathlon in Chichester and we know many local athletes are looking forward to taking part in a race in their home city.
"For those who would like to be involved in this exciting event, but do not want to enter the race, volunteering is a very rewarding way to play a big part in the success of the day."
Places in the race are also still available. For more details on taking part as a competitor or volunteer call 01243 534871 or visit chichester.gov.uk.
