With more than 500 events at this year's Fringe covering everything from theatre, dance and comedy to art, literature and music, visitors can expect to be spoiled for choice.
But if you're still having trouble deciding what to see, help is at hand with the Fringe City street party showcasing some of the forthcoming highlights.
Promising to be "Brighton's biggest party", the free extravaganza will follow on from the Children's Parade and performances continue into the evening.
Partygoers will also be able to pick up special Fringe City Passports, allowing them discounts at selected local stores.
1pm-7pm, free. For more information see www.brightonfestivalfringe.org.uk
- Jubilee Square, Saturday, May 5
