A mechanic has swapped his spanner for sports shoes to raise money for charity.
Ian Hodge, 36, of Leeves Close, Heathfield, is running the Flora London Marathon on Sunday as part of an eight man team for Coeliac UK.
His youngest son, Joseph, five, has coeliac disease which stops him eating food containing wheat and gluten.
Mr Hodge will be supported along the route by wife Colette, 31, and his other two sons, Joshua, nine, and Jacob, seven.
He said: "I'm feeling ready and rearing to go. I have not got a clue how long it will take.
"My goal is to just to cross the finish line.
"I have been running non stop for a year and a half so hopefully I will be fine."
Mr Hodge has raised more than £1,050. To sponsor him visit www.justgiving.com/IanrunsFLM.
