A letter was printed in The Argus recently about a man who suffered a fit in the middle of a busy road in Rottingdean (Letters, April 6).
I was that man and would like to thank the lady who wrote the letter and came to my aid, the young girls who were so kind and the two strong men (shopkeepers, I think).
These people rushed out into the road at their own peril and got me lifted to safety. As I am no lightweight, this was itself no easy thing to do.
Also I must mention my good friend and neighbour Floss who was my companion. We both like going out and about and enjoy bus trips together.
She is never daunted when I "throw a wobbly" (although I don't usually do it in the middle of a busy road).
Without her as a travelling companion, I would probably never venture out so much on my own - so this is a great big thank you to her and all the people who helped that day.
