It looks as though a couple of members of Sussex Police have infiltrated the "Views from the web"
section (Letters, April 14 and 16).
Mr W and Hoveboy claim The Argus hardly ever praises the police and constantly criticises.
Let us hope these two contributors aren't detectives or heaven help us all. I'm no sleuth but I can see the opposite is nearer the truth.
Mr W and Hoveboy seem rather blind to those bits of the truth they don't like.
I only hope they recognise Sussex Police is far from perfect.
I'm proud to have good friends in the force but some of the things they tell me make me worried for the future of policing.
At the end of the day, the police should be accountable and one of the reasons I buy The Argus is to see how it plays its part in holding our public bodies to account.
