Two community champions from Brighton are to be honoured at a national ceremony for taking a stand against anti-social behaviour.
Brian Balchin, from Patcham, and Alec Potter, from Preston Park, have both helped make a difference in overcoming yobbish behaviour in their neighbourhoods.
They will get a Respect Award from the Government's Respect co-ordinator Louise Casey at a ceremony in Birmingham organised by the Home Office.
Brighton and Hove anti-social co-ordinator Aaron Devereaux said: "Local people like Brian Balchin and Alec Potter are at the heart of all the anti-social behaviour work that is going on in the city and it is the commitment of local communities that is helping to make a real difference."
