A 14-year-old girl amazingly suffered only minor injuries after she was hit by a bus while she talked on her mobile phone.
The schoolgirl escaped with cuts and bruises after the incident at the crossroads between Beckett Lane and Matyrs Avenue, in Langley Green, Crawley.
The incident happened at 7.42am today.
Emergency services were called to the scene and initially it was believed she suffered a fractured skull.
But doctors later revealed she only suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the bus, a 28-year-old man from Horley, near Crawley, was treated for shock at the scene.
