Man dies after VW Polo smashes through fences and bursts into flames
A MAN has died after his car crashed through fencing and burst into flames on a beach.
The body of a man was discovered in the burnt out remains of a green VW Polo discovered at the bottom of cliffs in Lincoln Avenue South, Peacehaven, at 6.25am on Sunday morning.
Police officers say the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious at this time and his next of kin have been informed.
Anyone who may have seen the car in the area in the hours before it was found or who may have heard anything is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 352 of June 14.
