In your Britain Today column (The Argus, April 12), I read that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are buying a yacht which is being built in Rome. Perhaps someone can explain to me me what relevance this has to Britain today?

Unfortunately, The Argus is yet another victim of the "celebrity" culture which has invaded this country.

Surprisingly, I have no wish to read about the legions of non-celebrities who appear to be famous simply for breathing the same air that the rest of us do. One of them only has to sneeze and someone somewhere will write about it.
