Two men have been seriously injured after the sports car they were in crashed.
The 38-year-old Jaguar driver from Newhaven and his 64-year-old passenger from Seaford are still being treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital for their injuries after the three car crash yesterday evening.
A blue Jaguar XKR was travelling south towards Newhaven on the C7 at Piddinghoe, near to the Northease Manor School, at around 7pm, when it lost control and crossed onto the other side of the road.
A red Dacia Sandero, travelling in the opposite direction, tried to avoid colliding with the Jaguar and left the road ending up going down a steep embankment.
The Jaguar then collided head on with a black Volkwagen Passat.
The driver of the Dacia, a 21-year-old woman and her passenger, a 20-year-old woman, both from Lewes, suffered minor injuries. The driver of the Volkswagen, a 36-year-old man from Newhaven, also suffered minor injuries.
Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact police on 101 or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting Operation Plover.
