Keep Sussex Skating (KSS) believes recreational rollerskating has an established part within the multi-faceted culture of the city of Brighton and Hove.
An outlet for skating can be part of the general flow of every clement day of the resort.
However, news that Skatefresh (The Argus, April 11) wishes to train mothers to rollerskate while in charge of a pushchair, as a means of exercising, is surely irresponsible and not a good idea for the busy seafront of our resort.
Our local hospitals are overstretched and would not appreciate patching up any accidents caused by a crazy fad. KSS would support any Skatefresh focus on general rollerskating tuition for the general public.
