Most people complain about Brighton's traffic wardens because their attitude is, "We want to park where we like and sod the rest of you".
This would be fine if we lived in a desert but in a small town, parking enforcement is needed otherwise we locals wouldn't be able to park our cars near our homes.
If shoppers and tourists want to come to Brighton, why can't they come on the train or the bus?
We have perfectly good public transport, even if it is outrageously expensive.
Over the Easter weekend I saw no parking wardens on duty - they must have been given the weekend off to save money.
Day trippers parked in our residents' parking bays with impecunity.
I saw no cars with tickets and there were no places for locals.
I had to park illegally because there was no bay - I hope I'm not the unlucky one who gets the ticket.
