Three businessmen raised thousands of pounds for charity by climbing to the roof of the world.
Mike Jones, Jeremy Wootton and Chris Griffin went on a Himalayan expedition which took them to the base camp of Mount Everest.
They battled against altitude sickness and 14 days of freezing conditions to reach their goal, situated at 5,300m.
At one point the thermometer dropped to a bone-chilling minus 16 degrees Centigrade as they huddled together in two man tents.
Mike, Jeremy and Chris lived on a diet of porridge, soup with popcorn, soya bread, black tea and yak's cheese.
The expedition, which the trio said was a life-changing experience, was led by veteran mountaineer Doug Scott, the first Briton to climb Everest in 1975.
Mike runs Michael Jones estate and letting agents in Worthing, Jeremy is a partner with Worthing solicitors Thomas Eggar, and Chris works for Duncton plc, a firm based in Rogate, near Petersfield.
Their sponsored trip raised £15,000 for the British Heart Foundation.
