One theatre-goer remembers being pushed aside by TV stars as she sat in a near-empty auditorium.
Katherine Moore, 42, of Grand Crescent, Rottingdean, has lived in Brighton since she was seven and has been to the theatre three or four times a year since.
She said her most memorable trip was when she went to see Letitia Dean, aka Sharon Watts in EastEnders, in a comedy called Rattle of a Simple Man and found herself shoved out of the way by the actress's TV pals Susan Tully, who played Michelle Fowler, and Michael French, who played David Wicks in the popular soap.
Mrs Moore said: "I think that was the funniest trip. Unfortunately, there was hardly anyone in the audience - in fact I have never seen it so empty.
"As the play was about to start we decided to move into the empty seats in the row in front of us, only to have to move back a few minutes later.
"There was no one beside us or behind us but when Susan Tully and Michael French arrived, they insisted they were their seats and made us move back a row.
"It was quite funny but I don't know why they couldn't just sit next to us - there was enough room."
