I would like to thank the manager, Sarah, and all the staff of Woolworths in Shoreham for helping our 35th anniversary celebrations and the launch of National Hospital Radio Week in the Adur District.
The store kindly gave us gifts which we were able to give away to numerous children throughout the day. It also helped to create an awareness of hospital radio in both Worthing and Southlands hospitals.
A 25-years' service certificate was awarded to Sid Sivyer by the station's chairman Dean Fieldus on behalf of the Hospital Broadcasting Association in recognition of the years Sid has spent on hospital radio.
Our sincere thanks go to all at Woolworths and the many customers and residents of the Adur district who helped make the day so enjoyable.
- Malcolm Brett, honorary secretary, Seaside Hospital Radio
